Landscape photographer Mark Capurso grew up in suburban upstate NY and enjoyed exploring the wooded areas near his childhood home. In 2003, he relocated to Arizona from New York City, rediscovering his love for the outdoors and wilderness exploration. After an extraordinary desert spring bloom in 2005, Mark was inspired to start photographing some of the places he visited. ”I saw a copy of Arizona Highways magazine and was blown away by the images that their photographers were capturing. It became my goal to have my photography featured in the magazine, and after years of learning and refining my technique, I accomplished that goal".
